Egyptian geese on Tooting common, pages 26, 27

A flurry of excitement on Tooting Commmon this morning , as four Egyptian geese chicks appeared on the island...they are pretty big already.

Misty five mile run

I went on a lovely misty five mile run today, across the top of Crystal Palace Park, through Sydenham Hill woods, down Cox's walk to the middle of Dulwich Park and then back again the same way, stopping on Anerely Hill, I was surprised to see that the steepest incline, according to MapMyRide was Cox's Walk, I thought Low Cross Wood lane was the Killer coming back...lots of woodpeckers drilling today, it was very echoy and fragrant in the woods and I noted a whole bunch of daffodils coming out by the Lordship Lane Estate, those ones are always very beautiful by late March. It certainly does feel like Spring is imminent..
